The Raw section of Summerslam has me excited. The matches have good storylines behind them.

I can't decide who is going to win the WWE Title or the Universal Title matches. Anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately, I don't think WWE can resist having Nakamura beat Jinder for the WWE Title only for Baron Corbin to cash in after the match and win the title.

The Universal Title match is a little bit more complicated to say the least. When you look at all the factors heading into the Fatal 4-Way Match, I can legitimately see any one of them winning. On the surface, it seems that WWE is givng Brock Lesnar a way out to train for a potential fight against Jon Jones and losing the Universal Title (without being pinned or submitted, I might add) but I can't rule out that Lesnar & Heyman leaving if Brock loses the title is just a swerve by WWE to make us think he's leaving to train for a UFC return. It seems suspiciously convenient to the point that I think WWE might just have Brock retain and possibly keep the title until Survivor Series (which a lot of people seem to forget still exists).

However, if WWE does have Brock lose the title, I'm really hoping it's Samoa Joe who gets the title. Joe has been doing some great work since getting put into the title picture and, of the three challengers, Joe is the guy who deserves it the most.

With that said, I am a big fan of Braun Strowman but, somehow, putting the Universal Title on Braun just doesn't seem right for his character. Maybe it's because he's such a big guy or maybe it's because his whole gimmick is that he loves nothing but destroying everyone on the roster (especially Reigns).

As for Roman Reigns, I don't think WWE is in a place right now where they would put the title on Roman (as crazy of a notion as that is). It seems to me that WWE might be tapping the brakes on the Reigns push for the time being to try and rebuild him up in the eyes of the fans. If WWE wants to fix the damage of the Roman Reigns push of the last couple of years, then putting the title on him at this point would be a step in the wrong direction.

Just a post Summerslam thread for any thoughts on the show and the results.

Although the outcome of most matches on the card were predictable wwe managed a few suprises with 4 title changes overall on the night.

I was disappointed with how Rusez and Baron Corbin were booked in particular, but overall a good ppv with some very good matches.

that fact that Jinder Mahal pinned Nakamura leaves a bad taste in my mouth, plus the burials of Corbin and Rusev, nice to see the uso with the titles again same goes for Neville even though both divisions are weak. I think Nattie winning the title sets up a Carmella cash in, sasha winning was predictable, amborse and rollins also predictable, Big show and Cass never cared about that match.
