I'm surprised we're getting Lesnar/Strowman and Cena/Reigns on a PPV like this, I'd expect more build/hype and for them to feature on of the big 3.

On a grander scale maybe, but does the WWE PPV business mean anything with the network? Not really, not really anymore. The names WrestleMania, Summerslam or Royal Rumble will garner viewership anyway but I guess it isn't a problem to give us two hot Main-Events on what used to be a "B-PPV", I mean it still is a B-PPV per se but people will tune in.

I wouldn't be surprised if they, somehow, give us a screwy finish or whatever and we end up getting the rematch at a bigger pay-per-view. Regardless of how they do it, I expect WWE to stretch this feud out as much as possible.

Hot and enjoyable PPV with no particular bad matches. All were good to very good. No classics mind.

Random musings

Miz winning again via outside help is getting boring fast, but he and the match were good.

Braun lost far too easy and clean but again good match. Personally I thought Waytt was going to cost him the match so he wouldn't lose clean. Plenty of time to build him back up before rumble /WM season.

Will Jordan turn into a frustrated heel? The crowd are not willing to cheer him anyway so might as well. Its so soon after being announced as Angles son though. So I wouldn't have them split. Just turn Angle as well as he works very well as a heel or face.

Reigns winning means a world title run is imminent. On or before WM.

Thought it was a good show, enjoyable as you said.

I really liked the white/read colour theme they had going on, they rarely use white as the background colour but it looked cool.

Miz got a fantastic reaction from the crowd, he must have been chuffed with that.

I think Jordan will turn heel, seems like they're building towards it already.

I wish they do something with Emma instead of making her look like a chump all the time. I'm hoping all these references to her having no friends either lead to her and Dana joining forces again or maybe even aligning with The Iconic Duo if they get the call up.

That faceplant of Cesaro's was brutal!!

Ouch!
Thought the Reigns/Cena match was really good. Didn't really like the post finish with Cena milking the crowd as if he's retiring. He's said he isn't but I'm assuming he'll be away for a while.

Cena might be making another film. Also with Cena referring recently to Taker being broken down and old could it lead somewhere?

I don't think last WM was his last match nor was it built or really referred to as such.

Could we get Cena vs Taker as his actual retirement?
