I really really really x aprox infinity hope this news is true and that he does buy the magpies. Watching him fail in a(nother) outside venture is always fun.

I can see his list now of what have I tried

    Bodybuilding X
    Diners X
    American Football X
Films X (X on a successful level although that is a argueble point as most of them broke even on DVD.)

He keeps looking down the list

Soccer! I have not done Soccer yet.

With the exception of Knucklehead (which hasn't been on release that long), every WWE film has made a profit (DVD sales being the main reason), which is the probably the only success Vince would care about.

Vince McMahon to Buy Newcastle United Football Club?
    Posted by: WrestlingNewsSource.com

    - Many British fans may be shaking their heads at such a prospect but there is a rumor floating around that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has been linked with buying British football club Newcastle United from current owner Mike Ashley. A spokesman for the club said the club would not comment on such "nonsense."

Had to post this as it made me laugh

I can assure you that a member of the McMahon family was certainly at a Premier League game in the past few days.

If the players run onto the pitch shuffling whilst "Here comes the Money" booms through the stadium....then bring him on!

The game that Shane was at last weekend didn't feature Newcastle United.

It featured one team that would surely be out of the McMahon families price range too.

Just imagine the current manager daring to ask Vince for transfer money....Vince would probably tell them he's going to turn a profit by loaning WWE stars to play for Newcastle Utd.

And it's The Great Khali in goal with Evan Bourne playing down the wing...
