Watched most of the Countdown shows, they did a good job at making me pissed that I'll be missing the fight for my football game. Thanks, UFC.

I've only seen one Rashad pick among around a hundred I've seen today:

    Jones | KO/TKO | Round 4
    Mills | Decision
    chaub | KO/TKO | Round 3
    Hominick | KO/TKO | Round 2
    Bocek | Decision
    Torres | Decision
    Griggs | KO/TKO | Round 1
    Brown | Decision
    Njokuani | KO/TKO | Round 2
    Danzig | Submission | Round 2
    Clements | Decision
    Brimage | Decision

Mills prediction makes no sense, but there it is.

    Forgot this one on Tapology, so I'm not doing finishes, because I'm always wrong anyway, but I'll take;

    Jones
    MacDonald
    Rothwell
    Torres
    Hominick
    Alessio

And prelim predictions can suck my d*ck.

My usual strategy with prelims is go with the guy who everyone else is going against. Madness of crowds and all that.

I actually knew the guys this time though, so I'm invested in these pics. Danzig! The dude with the sideburns that beat Lashley!

Well, well, well... talk a big game, what follows is twice the shame.

Good card, good fights, some excellent striking on display up and down the main card - shame there wasn't any decent grappling in the main fights but you can't have it all.

Glad the main event turned out the way it did, question is, what next? Both for those two fighters and for the UFC given the card situation at the moment.

Really good main card, glad we don't get the prelims this time as they looked really bad other than the Browne/Griggs fight.

I'm glad Jones won but I still don't get why his level of dominance isn't being respected as much by fans as GSP's is. GSP gets rapturous ovations for 5 round decision wins, Jones is still getting booed consistently.

Rory MacDonald is an absolute beast, Che Mills is of course not in his league but the domination he showed was just insane. I'll always like MacDonald purely for the way he made Nate Diaz into his personal suplex bitch. Michael McDonald also looks very impressive, and I hope he gets the winner of Cruz/Faber as I think he may have a shot at winning the 135 belt. I was also quite happy that Mark Hominick lost, nothing against the guy himself but I was getting really fed up with Rogan's constant praise of him and ignoring what Eddie Yagin was doing.

Jones isnt getting boo'ed for his performances, he's getting boo'ed because he's a phoney, cheesey pr*ck.

Him and Rashad were just as bad as each other in the whole thing. Both are cocky, both think there the best or at least did and both were at fault for what happened.

End of the day though Jones was right, Rashad wasn't as prepared as he should have been, he made the wrong move going to Florida and surrounded himself with the wrong people and chose to focus on the wrong things rather then becoming the champion.

Should it have all gone down like it did? No it shouldn't have and it may well happen all over again when GSP fights Condit because they are both Jackson fighters as well but at the end of the day grow up - there is only one game in town and thats the UFC and if you want to be a champion then sometimes you are going to have to fight a friend - end of. Be men, realise that you can't promise not to fight each other because realistically, for some fighters, it is a promise you can't and shouldn't be expected to keep.

There's a difference between being cocky and arrogant like Rashad and phoney, fake and cheesey like Jones. Jones grates on peoples nerves, he's so transparent.

I think there's also some resentment towards how the UFC is trying so, so hard to make a star out of Jones instead of letting it happen organically like it did with Lesnar, or GSP, or Jackson.

Jon Jones is MMA's John Cena.

Try and see the Rothwell/Schaub fight if you can, and I'd watch the two Mc/MacDonald fights to see what the future of their divisions looks like.

I find the hate for Jon Jones amusing. And I disliked Cena hugely when I use to watch wrestling, I can't compare them. I don't find Jones cheesey at all, he sounds like a standard humble fighter when he wins, difference is he's Greg Jacksons new most hated black champion fighter... a bit like what Rashad was... and back then everyone hated Rashad.

I mean what is fake about Jon Jones? Is he really a massive turd who hates the fans and who really wants to spit on every opponent and not touch gloves. I am not a massive Jones fan, but I enjoy watching him fight just as much as I enjoy most skilled mma fighters.

By the way if you didn't know Che Mills is SOLID and a KILLER. Rogan would still get respect if he was honest when the fight starts. Rory must face a top 10 guy next, please.
