Can't say that I didn't enjoy that read, if only because it was really well put together and a fascinating insight. We've all known TNA's multitude of problems for years but this hammers home a lot of stuff that people tend to overlook purely because, hey, it's wrestling.

Meltzer had it right - people really don't care about wrestlers.

Given some of the stuff you read in wrestling books sometimes, I'd say that was pretty much something that's fairly common too - sucks for them sometimes.

But WWE is a BILLION DOLLAR company. And SUCCESSFUL. And run by a grouchy billionaire. Who is rude to people a lot.

TNA aren't. Therefore, WWE are evil and TNA represent everything that is pure and wholesome.

You, and the author of this article, sound like a pair of butt sore, whiny bitches crying because people (rightfully) criticize WWE. Awwwww. And who ever said TNA was "pure and wholesome"? Its a wrestling company therefor full of steroid fueled grown men with the behaviour and attitudes or spoiled children. How is any of this shocking to anybody?!

Wrestlers are animals, wrestling as an industry is full of disgusting behaviour in every promotion thats ever existed. TNA are no different than any other. Same deal.

How anybody can be surprised at the way people act within the wrestling industry is beyond me.

I think it's more a case that some fans are surprised that a promotion like TNA which brands itself as being 'like a family' treats so-called members of it's family who do not happen to be high-profile ex-WWE recruits or main-eventers like they are insignificant.

TNA are happy for the mid-card,lower-card and knockouts to put their bodies on the line and put up with whatever ridiculous storylines they are given, but they can't even cover them medically?

Even the big,bad and evil WWE covers their employees healthcare...and no I am not saying they are the best employers in the land.

Yeah, I think it's more the fact that WWE aren't even close to as bad at mistreating their employees and being in the sh*thole like TNA are. TNA hire far too many people who have far too little impact and this money could easily be used to, say, pay for operations or give their lower paid talent something extra or send them to rehab. WWE do things for publicity and have admitted such, but they do something at least.

WWE like to push the "we are a big happy family" bullshit aswell, its no different. WWE do more for their guys now than at any other time, but in the 80's and 90's they were horrendous to work for, not paying guys if they were hurt, paying for their surgeries and then taking it back out of their wages, paying for their ring gear and then taking it back out of their wages, having them work 60+ consecutive days, booking them to do autograph signings and personal appearances on their rare days off, no drug policy and basically working people to death with their terrible schedule. The only reason things changed is because Eddie died, if he hadnt, it would be the same now.

Wrestling is a shitty business to work in unless you are making big money, you are treated like a performing monkey. How anybody is surprised at all at this 'news' is shocking.

The people who work for TNA have the option of not working there, end of story. Same with WWE. If you dont like it, f*ck off and get a shitty 9-5 job like the rest of us, you know, REAL WORK! It gets on my nerves that people have no problem with the conditions while they are drawing a paycheque from either company, and when they get fired, they talk about how awful it was. Dont work there then mother f*cker! Go and get a job in a warehouse stacking boxes!

    This

Every company or organization is going to have people that work there that are unhappy or disgruntled. But in the normal world, at least most of them can go and look for a better job elsewhere. With the wrestling industry where is there to go? If your not happy in the WWE, then you can go to TNA or the Indies, which is probably worse if that story is anything to go by.

My impression is if you want to be a wrestler then either shit or get off the pot. It's a shame but there isn't a lot of choice.
