I wanted to start this thread because I saw a YouTube video and heard some rumblings about something interesting and unusual that ROH is doing. As you can see in the video below, reigning ROH World Champion Cody unveiled the ROH Ring of Honor. From what I can surmise from the video, this Ring of Honor (which is a literal ring) will replace the ROH World Championship belt. I've heard rumors about ROH getting sued by the company that makes their title belts or something and that is why this is happening but I don't know if there's any truth to that.

In any case, I am very confused by this. Is the ROH World Championship a ring now or is this a separate thing entirely? Will the reigning champion have both the belt and the ring? The video seems to imply that they are getting rid of the title belt entirely. I wanted to post this thread in the hopes of getting some clarity on this issue as well as seeing what everyone thinks about the concept of a ring representing a championship.
