That very much keeps him as a heel, and as we've established - he's stagnating in that role.

Well, the word going around is that Miz's recent jobbing streak is all part of a "master plan" that will end with Miz getting involved with a certain "Once in a Lifetime" Match at a certain biggest event of the year.

The Miz is one of those heels that is so good at what he does that even smart marks have a hatred for him. I can say that since that is the case with me.

I believe that WrestleMania will say a lot about the future of The Miz's career.

I dont see how someone running in and cheating for the babyface team is really the way to go.

Although, I'm not sure thats anywhere near as a bad as the idea of Miz ruining the main event.

I guess I'm saying that Miz doesn't need to change his character and the way he acts that much to get over as a face? He pretty much did it already in his tag run with JoMo, and I don't see how it'd be that much a stretch for him to do it now.

They should do it just for the Del Rio feud. I reckon that could do great things for both guys, and apparently they have some kind of legit beef with each other.

EDIT: And I reckon no-one would mind the babyface team cheating to get to the finish if the heel team cheats like hell to score a few falls during the match. In fact, I imagine the crowd would positively encourage it.

If the bad guy cheats and cheats and cheats all match, and then the good guy doesn't use an opportunity to give back a little of what he's had to put up with, then the good guy's an idiot in my book!

Yeah there's that scenario, but you have to qualify it, because "the babyface team cheats to win" on its own, you know.

Although looking at the teams, they'd almost have to.

For the Miz to truly turn face he would have to have a HBK esque Survivor Series 2003 moment and lose. By having the Miz lose he could then blame his downfall and fight back against Johnny's comrades after the much needed switch to SD that he so desperately needs.

I wasn't suggesting that miz should interfere, its just that they seem to like to connect storylines specifically from mania to mania and i could see them doing that, but i am totally against it. Rock vs cena needs clean finish.

I see him either disappearing (he'll certainly work a lighter schedule due to Fozzy commitments), or going to the midcard to put a few younger guys over. I don't see him winning the title and if he does it'll be a mistake.

I don't think Jericho will be around long, after Wrestlemania. And he definitely won't like another midcard run.

Unfortunately, I think he'll be off again.

Jericho doesn't mind putting people over and losing, so he's perfect to try and elevate some guys during the summer, if he's about of course.

Oh no, I'm sure he woudn't mind putting over some of the other wrestlers. I just think after main eventing at Wrestlemania, he'd want to be fighting for the title again.

Before he left, he was stuck in the midcard on an insane losing streak, so I'm not sure if he'd want to do that again.

If he wins at Wrestlemania and becomes champion, I think he'd able able to elevate a few wrestlers, before taking his leave. I may be in the minority, but I think Jericho will win at WM. :)

That's my point though, from what I've heard he doesn't mind that if it's for the good of others. Or at least he's certainly more inclined to do it than than others.

Fozzy are playing Download this year I think so he'll be over hear at some point too.

That's the thing with Jericho - he was brought through the regional leagues were a good back and forth feud and trading wins was the norm and expected. You both tried to get over and therefore get people interested in your matches, get you bumped up the card and earn more money and a bigger spot somewere else in another region.

He saw the treatment handed to him, Saturn, Malenko, Eddie and he who shall not be named in WCW and that has also spurned him on to be a bit more giving then the average main event level star.

Granted he still has an ego is not completely giving all of the time (but then again which top level wrestler is?) but he knows he doesn't need to run for the title or be around forever so putting people over and helping the business is the smart thing to do and that is what I think he will do for CM Punk - to truly help him establish himself as 'Da Man'. You know, like HHH should have done when they had that match at the end of last year - the part time established star lying down for the up and coming main eventer about to win the WWE title again makes more sense after all.

But back to the main point - what Miz needs to do is carry on being a heel, he is an excellent heel and all he needs to do is snap and be a bit more vicious - he needs to be the man who takes what he feels is owed rather then be the slightly cowardly heel the WWE made him into during his title run. That is the next step for him IMO.

'Limited talent' ? The guy can work and is easily one of the most charismatic promos out there. Also it's ironic that you describe him as a limited talent, but have a profile picture of the Bella twins.
