Before anyone comments, can you please watch the below video. Thanks

I have been truly amazed with the Miz's fall from grace. The above footage was from Raw 25/10/2010, exactly 5 week's before he cashed in his MITB briefcase and beating Randy Orton for WWE title.

Then last year at WM 27 he clashed with John Cena in the main event, which unfortunately was overshadowed by the Rock's return.

Fast forward a year and the Miz is basically jobbing weekly on Raw and SD. After watching the above video and looking at the Miz's descent down the pecking order in WWE since last year at WM, was Eve's scripted assessment of the Miz right.

Was Miz just the right man at the right time, did his TV and media work outside of WWE blind them too the fact that he just wasn't very good and is it time to wish Miz luck in his future endeavors?

    Short answer... no.

Like anyone else he had his time, slipped down a while, didn't go out of his way to work back to that Main Event spot and now is playing the waiting game, and from what I've read, Miz will be getting his chance again very very soon.

No way miz can be done. He has good mic skills which most of the wwe does not and he can carry heat when needed to. I really think hes gonna make a face turn for his next run up the ladder.

No his career isn't over, not by a long shot. Here's the evidence, if it was over they'd be taking him off of TV not having a storyline about him falling/

His career is nowhere near over.

There's a good point above that his next big run might well be as a babyface. He belongs as a heel in the long term, but he has a babyface fun in him. If he's ever going to have another crack at the top of the card something about him needs to change, anyway.

His current losing streak is essentially a work, anyway...

Wow a positive comment on a post of mine from Mr. Redman. Should I pat myself on the back? In all seriousness, his work on the TV series psych I think is a good indicator of his role changing. It was somewhat comical. I think back to the skits he used to do with Morrison and miz could easily turn something like that into a babyface skit.

Not over but simply returning to his natural position in the company given his limited talent

I agree with Jayfunk. I don't he is ever going to be a proper main eventer, regardless of how he's pushed.

I think “Career Over” is abit of a strong term to use :)lol) but I understand where Ciaran is coming from. He’s had his time in the spotlight and has now slumped down the card; it happens.

His career isn’t over, not close to being over. He has a big part to play in WWE. It’s just that his time at the top has passed now and someone else is at the top. That’s the cycle.

The fact is with the rise of CM Punk, the return of Jericho and Rock as well as the emergance on the blue brand of Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan this really is the only place for Miz at the moment. After Mania, when the dust settles and Rock is gone and Jericho moves back to mid-card filler I believe Miz will start to move back up to title contention.

Either that or a move over to Smackdown and a ressumption of his fued with Bryan OR a run with Orton which could provide some good moments.

Like others have said its not a case of career over but merely a wait and see time given the developments of the past few months.

There's definitely a role for him. I think he'd be really over as a face and the crowd would pop for his "I'm the Miz and I'm awesome" or "really?...really?...really?" type lines. He knows hows to interact with the crowd and I'm sure he'd be more successful as a face.

Does anyone think it is possible for the miz to be involved in the cena vs rock match as maybe screw one of them out of victory? He did get punked by the rock at wm27, just a thought.

I'm starting to think he might interrupt the Team Teddy / Team Johnny match. In fact, that'd be a great way to nail the face turn for him.

I wouldn't object to that. Could feud with Ziggler or something.

Yeah man, hopefully Johnny Ace does something else to upset Miz this week, which could well be the fuel for the big turn.

I see it going down with the last couple of guys in the ring, Johnny's team pressing the advantage. Some kind of double down happens, and the Miz runs in behind the referee's back. Ace is all happy because he thinks Miz is gonna secure the win, then BAMN! Skull Crushing Finale to Johnny's main guy (probably Otunga). Cue Miz slipping out the ring with a grin on his face, getting all up in Johnny's grill with a "really? REALLY?" for added effect.

Or maybe he joins Teddy's team, screws them and gets the win for Johnny's team.

I'd like Ziggler to be the last man, having put on a great show (naturally), and then like you said Chris, Miz runs in, screws Ziggler, turns face and we get a couple months of Miz and Ziggler, until MITB. I think there's good potential for some babyface Miz comedy.

Ziggler keeps having a dig at Miz on twitter so could happen.
