Dude, the radio show I'm working with is trying to book Barry Stevens RIGHT THIS SECOND.
From another forum:
Yeah, but the really funny thing is the crowd want to see their hometown boy DESTROYED!!
And "FEED ME MORE" needs to be on a T-shirt ASAP. I'd buy it.
"FEED ME MORE" is so much money.
RYBACK IS MONEY. I do feel though that down the line he will need a mouthpiece to enable him to connect to the audience more.
Hopefully they learn from Goldberg though and make him speak mostly through his actions. At the moment though FEED HIM MORE. I love intensity in a wrecking machine - it's a great wrestling moment, seeing someone appear and start running through everyone.
I loved it when Kane debuted, then when they did it with Brock (I saw him destroy the Hardys, live) and now with Ryback. To be honest, when I saw the size of Brodus Clay - I was expecting him to do this on Raw (though the Funkasaurus gimmick works)
If WWE were smart, Ryback would run through a few more jobbers - get a title shot (IC or US) and destroy the champion - proving he's not just a flat track bully. Say around Summerslam, Ryback would be perfect to elevate the IC/US championship back to something people really want.
Correct, Ryback needs to slowly destroy jobber after jobber and then move on to known names. Plus parallel to Ryback they could have Big Show squashing every challenger to his title until Ryback makes the step up at Summerslam. Show would be the the perfect person to give Ryback that extra push.
Would you rather he just destroy Show, or them work for 9 or 10 minutes?
You imagine how money it would be Ryback doing a "feed me more" spot in the rumble. He probably debuted too early to be undefeated and at this phase at the Rumble. But just imagine he come in number 20 or something and cleaned house. Then for the last 10 its the genuine top superstars of the rumble and he keeps eliminating shouting "feed me more" as the clock counts down, in the end winning the Rumble.
You could only pay this off if he went on to face Lesnar at Mania though.
But that would never happen, and I cant wait to see "feed me more" for some gauntlet match.
He should take what Show throws at him recover, clothesline him and then finish in about five minutes
A good way to do that would be to have Ryback staggered by the KO Punch early on, recover and then wear Show down until he dominates Show.
I really like what I've seen of Ryback so far but I think his finisher is a bit s**t. Personally I think that devastating clothesline would be a better finisher
He's also not going to be able to use that finisher on larger opponents either, so he's going to need an alternative.
Feeding jobbers to Ryback is doing him a disservice. Give him some mid carders and names to show he can mix with the better class, then up his game to the head liners, both faces and bad guys. This will build up his credibility to make a title run with and for any of the titles.
Feeding him short skinny nobody's proves nothing.
There just building him slowly, rushing causes accidents
Honest to God some people just have no patience anymore.
I wouldn't worry about it. He can bench press over 500 lbs. If Lesnar can F5 guys like Henry and Big Show, he won't have much of a problem. Probably why they gave him such a simple finish.
Plus if he really has to face someone too big to lift (and that shouldnt happen for another thousand years anyway) he can just use the Lariat.
