Fifa are investigating Paul Pogbas transfer to Man United
Morata to united looking extremely on the cards. Be a terrific signing, his record for Madrid in a limited amount of starts was good. Only Ronaldo scored more than him.
Morata would be an excellent signing for United. I thought they were saying he was going somewhere else last week during the UCL final.
It now seems the Morata deal is off as United have agreed a £75m fee with Everton for Lukaku. It would make him the sixth most expensive player in the world, be the biggest transfer between two British teams and would royaly piss off Chelsea.
No way in a million years is Lukaku is worth £75 million + £15 million in add ons. He is good but not THAT good. I personally would have gone for Morata. It will be interesting to see how United use him this season.
First Everton player since Gary Big Ears to score 20 league goals in a season, most Premier League goals by an Everton player, one of only three players to have scored 10 or more for the last five seasons in a row and he scored more then any United player.
Add in the fact that United are rich and money is mental in football today and there is how you arrive at £75m.
Chelsea have announced the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko from French champions Monaco for an undisclosed fee. It an interesting signing, I wonder how long it will take him to adapt to the Premier League?
According to Guardiola, Man City are still looking for a centre back, as Mangala is probably going to leave. I am not surprised by this as their defence is weak.
