Do you have any, or know someone who does? A local talk show host says he has a pet iguana. I just can't see doing that, but to each his own and.......he is a very good host so I forgive him for his indiscretion. :D

There's no way I can ever come close to an iguana but like you say, to each their own. People keep unusual pets ranging from hedgehogs, skunks, sugar gliders, tarantulas and so on. I am just okay with my kittens and puppies :).

I saw someone on the bus with her pet rat. It looked healthy and sort of cute. To each their own on what brings out their caring side, but a rodent is not my thing.

Yeah, some of these pets are what I would consider pests. But then, there's folks who have dog phobias and get very anxious when they see us playing with puppies.

Rodents aren't my thing too. I see a lot of people screaming when they see a rodent, so I am just wondering if people were calm on that bus? I get scared when I see Tigers being domesticated.

Pet otters have been a thing, and I feel sort of uncomfortable about it. I get that some animals have been injured and/or only know human company, and other species can increase their numbers as a result, but still.

My best friend that I lived with for awhile had 2 pet iguanas, one of which I personally found on the way riding my bike to his apartment before I lived with him (So in a way, that one was mine too). I personally also owned 3 bearded dragons. My ex GF last year had a pet rat and I loved him, he was a nice rat, very cuddly. Also have had standard pets - Dogs, cats, hamsters, birds (My sister's, but still I lived with them for a time).

I'd love to get a snake or more iguana's or bearded dragons, they're awesome. Iguanas especially, those things have personality. The iguana I found was a girl, we named her April. She was a bit more timid and hesitant and docile. The other iguana we had was named Juhne (Pronounced like the month June) and was a male. He had an attitude every time he looked at you, he loved roaming the apartment and hanging out on top of drapes. He was friendly, he'd crawl on you and let you pet him. He also begged for food like a dog might, except he'd crawl up your back and sit on your shoulders looking at you/your food as you tell him no.
