Matthew has a preview up HERE.

I've not watched much NXT in a while, looking forward to watching this.

I know most people are expecting Asuka to drop the title and move to one of the main shows but I'm hoping she keeps her undefeated streak and vacates the title (unlikely I know).

I posted the card for the show on the site as well....

I haven't watched NXT since the Roode/Strong title match but I always watch TakeOver since there's usually some good matches.

I'd like to see McIntyre win the NXT Title because I think Drew has been doing pretty good from what I've seen. Plus, having a guy like McIntyre as the top guy in NXT makes sense over a guy like Roode (who's in his 40's). I'm not saying Roode is some slow, old guy in the ring but the whole point of NXT is to build new stars that can be seen as the future of the company.

I agree about Asuka. I'd love to see her remain undefeated and just vacate the title (I think they did that with Paige when she won the Divas Title) and keep the streak going. Either way, I don't think Ember Moon is the woman who should end that streak. I feel like Ember has had her chance before and lost.

Other than the NXT Title match and the NXT Women's Title match, I don't really care about the rest of the card.

I don't see anyone else ending Asuka reign apart from Ember Moon. They seem to have building towards a title change as Ember has bene built strongly There is a lack of female depth on NXT that, hopefully, the Mae Young Classic will fix.

I don't think that Drew will win and I don't see a Bobby Roode callup happening either. They will most likely move onto a triple threat match with Roddy Strong. I think he will probably get involved somehow and cost Drew. My bold prediction is that Aleister Black will end Roode's reign.

Man, what a show that was. They sure didn't waste any time having Adam Cole (bay-bay) debut, did they? I'm intrigued by this alliance between Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, & Kyle O'Reilly. It's almost like an ROH invasion angle. I am all for seeing them take over NXT. The reaction for Adam Cole was insane and just shows how over the man is.

Jinder Mahal is the WWE Champion and, now, Drew McIntyre is the NXT Champion. What a crazy time to be a wrestling fan. As I mentioned already, having McIntyre as the top guy in NXT makes sense. Bobby Roode had a decent run as the champion but having McIntyre lead NXT into the future is a wise move. As for Bobby Roode, I'm still not sure if they will put him on the main roster at his age. I guess it's really up to Roode and if WWE has a spot for him on the main roster.

The match between Asuka and Ember Moon stole the show in my opinion. That was such a good match and I'm glad that Asuka retained, keeping the streak alive.

The Authors of Pain vs. SAnitY was also a good match. I loved the table spot and I think putting the belts on SAnitY is a good move. As for the other two matches on the card, they were okay. I was surprised to see Almas get a win.

NXT Championship:
Bobby Roode (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
Opinion: With the post match attack by Adam Cole, it seems to me Roode is being shuffled out of the title scene, to continue his feud with Roderick Strong

NXT Women's Championship:
Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon
Opinion: Asuka winning was the right move, may get some flack for this but I never got all the hype over Ember Moon, If Asuka is moving to the main roster, have her relinquish the title, then have a tournament to determine to new champion, or have the Mae Young final be for the Women's title.

NXT Tag Team Championship:
The Authors of Pain (c) vs. SAnitY
Opinion: The Authors were undefeated and dominate, then suddenly Sanity basically beat them up and win the titles.

Johnny Gargano vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas
Opinion: Was surprised by this one, was expecting Gargano to win, but this loss won't hurt Gargano.

Aleister Black vs. Hideo Itami
Opinion: Built up the Itami heel turn then had him lose to Black, like Gargano a loss by Black would not have hurt him.

Gargano/Almas & Black/Itami are proof why NXT needs a mid-card title.

It never occurred to me that the Mae Young Classic could double as a tournament for a new NXT Women's Champion. That's a great idea. Though, admittedly, the CWC and UK tournaments had new titles created for them but having a fourth Women's Title in WWE would not make much sense. This would also mean that Asuka would have to be brought up to the main roster in the very near future since we're not that far off from the Mae Young Classic.

I think the story told in the tag title match was that SAnitY used the numbers advantage to outnumber The Authors of Pain and used some unexpected tactics to outsmart them. I found it interesting that, in modern day WWE, they had a woman get physically involved with a man that wasn't just her slapping him.

Have to admit I was surprised by that Nikki Cross spot too, looked cool though.

Enjoyed the show but found the main event boring however the crowd went nuts for the post match beatdown by Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish. Looks promising for NXT!

Asuka broke her collarbone in her match and will miss at least 1 to 2 set of tapings. Or roughly 2 months of action.
