NBW returns to the Notts County football ground for the 3rd time in 2007 for another action packed event of wrestling.

The first matches have been announced by NBW for "RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN 2007" in Nottingham on Sunday 10th June.

In February "Malicious" Paul Malen challenged NBW champion "The Playboy" Phil Bedwell to a title match. In April "The Playboy" answered the challenge, although NBW made it a non title match. Unfortunately for him, he didnt count on the rest of the Establishment, Dave Friaser and Stephanie Scope, being at ring side and after interference from both, ended up on the losing end of the match, after which Malen declared himself the next NBW heavyweight champion.
Later that night, The Playboy saved Surf Digby from a 3 on 1 beat down and cleared the Estbalishment out of the ring, but not before delivering a vicious Brainbuster to Malen. The Playboy himself had a challenge on his own for the Establishment to turn up on June 10th for any type of match they want.
Malen and Stephanie have answered the challenge and have told The Playboy to find a female tag team partner for a mixed tag team match on June 10th.

Cashing in his no.1 contendership he won by beating Spud, Brad Flash and Kris Travis in April, El Ligero will go one on one with "The Gift" Ross Jordan for the NBW cruiserweight title.
Ligero is on a roll in NBW winning his last 2 matches by pinning the former cruiserweight champion "The Shooting Star" Kris Travis and replacing him as the no.1 contender in the process.
Jordan, making his first defense, has been the the centre of controversy as of late in NBW. Winning the belt from Bubblegum in April when Stixx, who was special referee for the match, turned on Bubblegum and joined Jordan, forming the anywhere but London hating Capital City Cliq.
Ligero will have to be on his guard as Stixx will no doubt be in Jordans corner in what should be an awesome match.

Speaking of the former cruiserweight champion Kris Travis, after being ousted as the number one contender he has set his sights on another set on NBW gold, that being Killer Instincts NBW tag team titles.
Taking full advantage of KI's any team, any time offer, Kris Travis has reformed his Project Ego partnership with Scotty Hexx with one goal in mind, to add the NBW tag titles to their collection.
Project Ego are former GPW (Garage Pro Wrestling) tag team champions, but you'd be a fool to bet against Killer Instinct who are quickly becoming 2 of the most popular wrestlers in NBW.

Also, underlining the name of the show are AD Wright and Imperial Dragon. Its been a whole year since AD turned on his former friend in Wragby and since that day has cost Dragon matches, fought in the crowd when he wasnt even on the show and defeated him with various rule breaking ways.
This time however the rule book will be thrown out the window as Dragon and Wright meet in a last man standing match.
It promises to be a brutal, hate filled match that both men will do anything to win.

3 Matches added to RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN

The line up for the upcoming show in Nottingham on Sunday 10th June has been completed with the inclusion of the following matches just announced by NBW.

Fan favourite Surf Digby will bring his special brand of technical wrestling to Notts County when he goes one on one with the mysterious Stealth.
Its skill against speed, mat wrestling vs high flying in what should be a great match.

Surf Digby vs Stealth

NBW middleweight champion, The Establishments "Textbook" Dave Friaser will meet the newly named Jay Techno. Fraiser threw out an open challenge to anyone in NBW and the highly impressive rookie Techno has accepted. Even though this will not be a title match as Techno is not a middleweight, a win over Fraiser will raise Techno's profile in NBW for sure.

"Textbook" Dave Fraiser vs Jay Techno

In the final match to be added, the heavyweight powerhouse rookie "Special Edition" Joseph Conners will meet the high flying underdog Adrenaline.
Although Conners will have a huge size advantage, Adrenaline will have the speed and experiance edge in what should be a great clash of styles.

"Special Edition" Joseph Conners vs Adrenaline

Stephanie Scope INJURED!!!

NBW has recieved the news that Stephanie Scope has suffered an ankle injury this past Saturday in a freak accident at a SLAM show in Birmingham. Although she wrestled for 12 minutes after,it has been reported she'll be out of action for a while and has to pull out of the upcoming mixed tag team match between herself and Paul Malen vs Phil Bedwell and Roxi.
Bedwell however has stated that they have no problem taking on Malen and the other women in the Establishment...er,Dave Fraiser.

Although it'll surely put Bedwell and Roxi at small disadvantage taking on two men, Roxi stated she has no problem with it and looks forward to paying back Malen and Fraiser for all the cheap shots they gave her last year.

NBW have made the match and are currently searching for a replacement to take on Jay Tachno, who originally was to compete against Friaser one on one.

[Trainee Match] Nitrus and Chebby defeated The Glitterarti in 10:53, following on a Swanton Bomb onto both members of The Glitterarti

Abdullah Quadir defeated Jay Techno in 11:03 with a Tiger Driver

El Ligero defeated Stixx in 14:05 with the C4L (Springboard Tornado DDT) to win the NBW Cruiserweight Title. Before the match Ross Jordan announced he was injured and that Stixx would be wrestling in his place and that the title would still be on the line. The end of the match saw Angelblade come down to ringside to even things up after Jordan started interfering, this distraction allowed Ligero to pick up the win

Stealth defeated Surf Digby in 12:13 with a Schoolboy and his feet on the ropes

Paul Malen and Dave Fraiser defeated Paul Bedwell and Roxi in 15:38 after Fraiser hit Roxi with a Tighetanic. Malen and Bedwell brawled to the back, Stephanie Scope caused a distraction which gave Fraiser the chance to put Roxi away

Angelblade and Jay Beaver (Beaver-X) defeated Kris Travis and Scotty Hexx in 12:49 following a Top Rope Splash from Angelblade onto Hexx to retain the NBW Tag Team Titles. Jay Beaver substituted for the absent Tiger X. Following the match Stixx and Ross Jordan ran in and attacked Angelblade and Beaver and set up a match between them at the next show.

Adrenaline pinned "Special Edition" Joseph Connors in 10.54

Imperial Dragon bt "The Street" AD Wright in a last man standing match when AD failed to beat the 10 count

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

FALL OUT - Rules were made to be broken

The fall out from Rules were made to be broken is now becoming clear.

With the entire locker room having to seperate Paul Malen and Phil Bedwell after they fought back out to the ringside area 30 minutes after they fought back stage during their match, the challenge that Bedwell threw out once they were seperated seems like the only logical way to go.
Although NBW is very concerned about sticking both Malen and Bedwell in a street fight with each other, we understand that a normal wrestling match with rules would be pretty pointless.
The match is offical and is for the NBW heavyweight title on Sunday 22nd July, but whether NBW will sanction the match is still under consideration.

Tiger X of Killer Instinct was unable to make the show at very short notice due to a unforseen unavoidable emergency and he apologises to the fans for his absense.
Although happy that his partner Angelblade and replacement Jay Beaver were able to retain the NBW tag team titles, when he heard what happened after there match at the hands of Ross Jordan and Stixx he demanded that the challenge they made for the NBW tag team titles at the next show be accepted straight away and is looking forward to paying them back with three times the pain. Angelblade however is now recovering from a neck injury sustained from the spike piledriver he took from Jordan and Stixx. Injured of not, both of KI are angry and cant wait for the now offical match to take place oh Sunday 22nd July between KI and the Capital City Cliq.

Speaking of the Capital City Cliq, their actions seemed to back fire on them earlier in the night. Jordan was set to defend his cruiserweight title against El Ligero and claimed injury at short notice to NBW. Over a barrel to have a title match they accepted that Jordan could find a suitale replacement, when Stixx came out as the replacement, NBW were as shocked as others in the audience. During the match, Jordan showed that there was nothing wrong with his arm, using it constantly to attack Ligero behind the referee's back. When the odds seemed totally against Ligero, Angelblade of KI came out in the entrance way. Using that distraction, Ligero hit Stixx with his C4L (springboard tornado DDT) to take the pin and the title, which ultimately led to the pay back attack you read above from Jordan and Stixx.

So El Ligero is the new NBW cruiserweight champion, but who will be his first challenger. The former champion "The Shooting Star" Kris Travis has already contacted NBW. Actually he contacted them the night of the show, after walking out on his partner Scotty Hexx at the end of their tag team title match, to demand his rematch that he never recieved after losing the title to Bubblegum in November. Although it would seem like Travis is the no.1 contender, he has been pinned by Ligero twice this year alone. So unless he changes his game plan he'll be 0-3 against Ligero after the match on July 22nd. Travis it seems is getting quite desperate for gold.
With both Bubblegum and Ross Jordan losing the cruiserweight belt on thier first defenses, it goes to show how tough the competition is in the NBW cruiserweight division.

After dishing out a vicious beating on each other AD Wright and Imperial Dragon are both said to be glad their dispute is over and even though AD was the loser in their last man standing match, showed suprising respect for his former friend. For Dragon, a win certainly puts him back in contention for the middleweight title held by "Textbook" Dave Fraiser.

The disrespectful acts of Abdullah Quadir caused a bit of an up roar with members of the locker room. Although he won the match, what he did after by placing the british flag over Jay Techno was a direct slap in the face to Techno, this country and many other patriotic members of the locker room. Many are now wanting a match with Abdullah, top of the list is in fact Jay Techno who is wanting a rematch as soon as possible.
