Hello, I'm Cherry, and I seriously got into entertainment a few years back as a healthy alternative to pubbing and clubbing. I like Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Star Wars, Rocky Horror, and other cult stuff, as well as more mainstream mystery drama like Vera and Midsomer Murders.

I live in York and enjoy running, particularly around the York Uni campus, which is not far from where I live.

I do a lot of my telly watching on catch-up, which means I can watch it when I want, rather than be tied to specific times.

One thing I don't watch is soaps, like Corrie and all that, as I prefer themes that are a bit more unusual, like mystery, sci-fi and retro.

Welcome on board, Cherry-Chan!

I see that you were into pubbing and clubbing - is that still the case? Which places did you like to go to? Or still like to go to? I enjoy going to pubs, and I am quite a fan of real ales. I also like specialist ciders, like pear cider, (which, actually, probably needs to be called perry, not cider).

I too tend to get my tv watching on catch up.

Hiya @AmyRichmond! I am not so much into pubbing and clubbing as I used to be. I now try to pursue a more healthy lifestyle.

I used to quite enjoy going to the Blue Bell on Fossgate, and various other York pubs. We also used to have a really good time at Kuda, and Club Salvation.

For the really serious clubbing scene we used to go over to Ibiza - San Antonio in particular. The nightlife in San Antonio is fabulous. We also used to go to Amnesia, which is a lot better than most of the English clubs I've been to, and it attracts a really international scene.

I like real ale and cider too, as well as cocktails. But these days I'm more likely to be having mocktails. ;)
