You are weird, lonely and you need to get a life. This internet thing was and is supposed to be a supplement to your life. It was never meant to be your life. So shut the computer off, go outside, take a walk and start associating with real people.

You're annoying all of us.

Pics or it didn't happen buddy.

By hackers I assume you mean the people who hack into accounts you have for the sole purpose of stalking. Right? Otherwise it would be more than just an annoyance. But I agree. Who has even the time to do that?

Dear Greylien:
Please do not lump all stalkers and all hackers together as if we're all the same. Not all stalkers and not all hackers - give us our individuality and see us as people first. Second, hackers need the internet to do their hacking. That's a given. Hacking can be quite lucrative. Surely you aren't hoping we'll lose our source of income right before the holidays? Have you no decency? Think of the children! The latest tricked out iPad isn't going to buy itself you know.

Very truly yours,

Dear Greylien:
Greylien stepped out for a moment, but I'll tell him you called.

Please do not lump all stalkers and all hackers together as if we're all the same.
Why not? You're all just a random series of 0's and 1's when you get right down to it.

Not all (are) stalkers and not all (are) hackers -
There, fixed it for you. Grammar much lately? LOL
But that reminds me of a joke I heard a few years back.
What's the difference between a stalker and a hacker?
The venue. Otherwise, they're the same.

give us our individuality and see us as people first.
Show us your individuality and we might. All we see is technical expertise which gives hackers the personality of an unpainted wall.

Second, hackers need the internet to do their hacking.
And in other news.......water is wet.

Hacking can be quite lucrative........The latest tricked out iPad isn't going to buy itself you know.
It doesn't have to if you can hack the system my dear.

Very truly yours,

All joking aside, does your technical prowess hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it? Please say no. You've grown on me.

It didn't need it. Not all ____ is the common refrain anytime a statement is made about someone who happens to be of a specific race, gender, religion, age, etc. Not all men. Not all Muslims. Not all Hispanics. Not all boomers. Not all stalkers and not all hackers. It happens even when it's obvious that the speaker meant that specific person, or that specific narrow group, not all of ____ in existence. I'm not a fan of the grammar police, but every forum deals with it and I guess it's good to learn what my mistakes are so I can avoid them in the future.

I was attempting to play along. I could've mentioned how lame it is to vaguepost/baitpost, but I figured I'd play along with it instead. Oh, the difference between a hacker and a stalker is that the stalker actually cares about the victim, even if it's criminally misguided. To a hacker, well, it's just a numbers game. A victim can be anyone. It doesn't matter.

Wait a minute, I just realized something. You're responding to a note I wrote to Greylien and you seem oddly invested in the outcome. You're the stalker aren't you?

Stalker is such an ugly word. It gives legitimately shy people a bad public image. True, if they're not good in public they shouldn't spend a lot of time there, but some of them get antsy I guess.

But no, I just saw the conversation and I always did find this topic interesting. That's why I prefaced it the way I did

To a hacker, well, it's just a numbers game. A victim can be anyone. It doesn't matter.
Not in this case

It's an extreme case, to be sure, but hackers are not looked upon in the best light. White hat, black hat or grey hat. If you're going to advertise what you do online, might I suggest you specify exactly what you are.

Man, I can't go visit BHW for a few days before things blow up here.

ShadowEdge........the one's I was referring to are those who do not make money from this. They are the ones who just want to harass people or make their online activities more public for whatever reason. I assume you're part of the former based on the defense you put up. That, and the fact that you're making yourself known. Sneaky people like to lurk in the shadows.

By the way, I have heard mention about what some of you people make if you work for the right government. Is that you?

Greylien, the first rule of hacker club is........don't talk about hacker club.:) I've heard stories too. Like if you work for a government entity to get into official Chinese or Russian tech. areas, you can pull in the high six figures easy.

Whatever anyone does black hat style, they need to remember the price that may be on THEIR head someday. Actions have consequences whether you're online or not.

White hat hacking I can get behind though.

I was literally just making a joke. It was a vague thread that seemed to seek attention, so that's what I gave it. That's it.
