Extreme Changes, Playa
10th June 2008

With a new General Manager in the Land of the Extreme, there will surely be plenty of changes, playa. As the man in charge, Theodore Long has taken away Armando Estrada's ECW contract and is forcing him to earn it back. The former ECW GM lost both of his matches last week, the first against United States Champion Matt Hardy and the second against Colin Delaney, which certainly does not help his situation. Will Estrada earn back his contract before the 2008 WWE Draft later this month? What other changes does Long have in store for ECW?

ECW Champion Kane defeated CM Punk last week, but after his match, WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison attacked the Big Red Machine. Kane will defend his ECW gold against Big Show at Night of Champions, but what obstacles will he have to face in the weeks leading up to Sunday 29th June? Will the WWE Tag Team Champions try to stand in his way? And when will Punk cash in his Money in the Bank privileges?

Due to a fracture of his eye suffered at One Night Stand, ECW Championship No. 1 contender, Big Show is not medically cleared to wrestle for the next three weeks. Big Show is still scheduled to challenge Kane for the ECW Championship at Night of Champions. How will three weeks of inactivity affect this ECW Championship Match?

Also on ECW, Shelton Benjamin was victorious over newcomer Matt Sydal, but afterward, Kofi Kingston attacked the Gold Standard. But Benjamin had the last laugh after he threw Kingston into the steel stairs. Since Benjamin was the first to defeat the Jamaican Superstar a few weeks ago on ECW, Kingston has been seeking revenge. Will Kingston be able to restart another winning streak, or will the Gold Standard continue his dominance in the ECW ring?

To find out the answers to these questions and more, tune into ECW this Thursday Night at 11.30pm on Sky Sports 3!

Pretty decent shot. Evan Bourne has to be the lamest, most unoriginal name ever dreamt up, but never mind. I think he can get himself over enough if they continue to let him strut his stuff in the ring.

Who would have thought I'd actually enjoy a Kofi v Shelton feud?

And how many times do we have to see Armando v Colin? Seriously, they've done this thing to death, and then did it a few more times. Armando has been buried before he even got a chance to wrestle, he's useless now. If they want to do something with Colin they need to, you know, do something with him.

Victoria v Kelly Kelly had a horrible start, a good middle, a fairly bad finishing sequence, and a great flat bump from Kelly. Victoria called her a "Barbie" during the match - surely thats breaking kayfabe?

Main event was good. Didnt see the point in having a title shot for no reason, but there you go.

EDIT: I forgot to mention Tiffany. "Holla holla holla". She was my new favourite Diva from her segment at the top of the show until Victoria came out.

He won last week, so his losing streak is only one match old.
