Has anyone else been following the E3 conferences the last two days? I feel like it's been pretty middling. Nothing too mind-blowing, but there has been a solid few things at each conference worth note.

Microsoft had a solid batch with We Happy Few, Dead Rising 4, Sea of Thieves, and a few others all in a row. Really loved the South Park part of the Ubisoft conference, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands looks like it could be excellent with the right group of friends.

    Anything hook you guys?

We Happy Few looks like it's gonna definitely be worth a playthrough when it's released. I'm quite excited for that.

I'll admit that I'm already in love with the new Zelda game. I watched the Nintendo Treehouse today and now I'm already looking at my finances and figuring out how I'm gonna afford an NX to play it next March.

I like the look of the new Quantic Dreams game. It's called Detroit something, but the trailer showed how you can get just one scene to branch off in so many different directions, it looks really cool. But this is Quantic Dream, so whether it lives up to the hype it's created for itself is another thing altogether.

My main high point so far is that Last Guardian actually has a release date. After 7 long-a*s years of waiting, I finally get to play it in October. WOOOOO!!

Honourable mentions so far are given to the new Insomniac PS4 Spiderman game, Watchdogs 2 looks waaaay better than I thought it was gonna be, ReCore looks like a cool little concept, CUPHEAD (finally), and I'm suitably intrigued by the new Inside game from the team who made Limbo.

There's some cool stuff on the horizon, and since I didn't play much of it first time round I imagine I'll pick up a copy of remastered Skyrim just for sh*ts and giggles.

    Dat new Zelda tho...

Also looking forward the new South Park game, The Fractured But Whole - amazing name and quite possibly going to be an amazing game if it is anything like Stick of Truth.

Watch Dogs 2 looks good as well, the original had its moments but was flawed, hopefully and so far, so good, they can take the goods parts and flesh it out more into the stunning game we all thought we'd get the first time round.

Now all I need is Rockstar to confirm my Red Dead bundle of joy!

I'm definitely tentative on Watch Dogs 2 only because the first one might be my biggest disappointment in modern gaming. I'll likely check it out, but it's going to be a very tentative "wait 6 months for the price drop."

Sony conference crushed it though. Hyped for nearly every game they showed. Spider-Man, Crash Remastered, The Last Guardian, God of War, Resident Evil 7, Days Gone, it all looked great to awesome.
