Celeb blind reveal sites

Do you ever check out one of those celebrity blind reveal sites? Crazy Days and Nights (CDAN) is my usual go-to celebrity gossip website. The site as a whole might be considered NSFW since drug usage, violence, and other illicit behaviors are discussed. Sometimes the reveal is depressing, like in this one where Gene Kelly is outed as a huge predator. Good on Elizabeth Taylor for doing something about it.

Sometimes CDAN gets it wrong, I think. This (NSFW) blind item is from 2016 and is scandalous as it outs several celebs and wannabe celebs for prostituting themselves to reach men in the Middle East. Apparently both men and women get in on it to earn large sums. There's allegedly a celebrity sex broker and everything. I find the idea pretty far-fetched, but I seem to be in the minority if the comment section is anything to go by. I thought you guys might be interested since it outs two GoT characters as partaking in the venture. Do you believe any of it?

Which blind reveal sites do you frequent?

I don't check gossip sites unless you count wrestling blogs. I look at those every now and then, particularly when I'm deciding whether a PPV will be worth it. That whole celebrity sex broker thing sounds both ridiculously unlikely and absolutely possible at the same time. On the one hand, surely these people make enough money already without resorting to high-end escorting. On the other hand, we've learned in recent years that predators reign in Hollywood and many actors, actresses, singers, and other creative types, go along with it in order to advance their careers. I don't mean to victim blame, but over time I think it creates a certain mentality. Once you've sold yourself the first time, it probably gets easier to compromise your personal boundaries and morals as you go along, until all of a sudden you're selling yourself to a rich oilman in Dubai for big bucks. Both scenarios seem equally likely to me.

It doesn't surprise me. The wealthy and narcissistic do things not on our level. I see this as being plausible because the average person in the "unwashed masses" crowd would see this as immoral on so many levels to the point where they might boycott shows/movies that these actresses and actors are in. Celebrities know this, so they use this as a way to stay incognito.

Personally, I couldn't care any less than what I do right now. These are all consenting adults going out of their way, expensively, to have sex. Goes to show how stupid people WANT to act when they have too much time on their hands.

CDAN is probably the best, but I also look over Blind Gossip at times. Those are the only two sites I know of that do celerity reveals. Yes, it was depressing to read that about Gene Kelly and I hate he was like that. I'll never look at Dancing in the Rain the same.

Maybe the celebs are doing it for the thrill of being desired and as a way to compete with one another. Maybe the money isn't the real draw.
